Chapter 8, Problem 1.2Q
Summary Introduction
Case Summary: FL plans to purchase land to be used as a warehouse. As the existing warehouse which is near to the port has become overcrowded. It has shortlisted different locations which are away from the port. This is because any location which is near to the port has the highest price. Moreover, another cost which is to be kept in mind is transportation cost. This cost is accrued when goods are sent from the port to the warehouse and then the truck charges which would further take away the goods to be delivered to the concerned person.
Interpretation: Point of indifference between CIP and ER.
