English 220 helped expand my ideas on what good writing is, and has helped me embrace certain stylistic choices to help add personality and intrigue to my writing. Reading and discussing Chapter 9 of They Say, I Say helped me identify and tweak my voice in later writing assignments, including MWA 2, and now I feel more comfortable deciding to use informalities and voice changes in my writing when it is necessary to better fit the prompt. In addition, our in-class discussions helped me become more

In the 2015-2016 school year, I taught one section of a 6th grade gifted course. I was new to the curriculum, the course, and the activities that we were doing. Prior to the start of that year, there was a couple of 60 in 60 sessions which were designed to expose us to a number of different new technologies. Being interested in technology, I picked up a couple of ideas, like Sway, Edpuzzle, and Nearpod and tried to incorporate them into the new lessons I was trying to teach. However, by being
Counselling case study Jayadeva de Silva.M.Sc, FIPM.FITD [pic] Let me introduce Bandara. Bandara has been working as the number two in a medium sized organization for ten years. It has always been intimated that when Jeremy his boss retires or leaves, Bandara will slip into the number one position and lead the organization. The exact date and origin of the creation of the kite is unknown but historical evidence suggests that they were flown in China about two thousand years ago. The earliest known account of kite flying was around 200 B.C. when the General Han Hsin of the Han Dynasty flew a kite over the walls of a city him and his troops were attacking to see how far his army would have to travel to reach past the enemies defenses. Kite flying was soon spread by Chinese Kitestraders from China to Korea, and through
For our group adventure, we did something that no one would expect. After considering Professor Carly’s recommendation, we decide to go with it. We decide to meet up before class on Wednesday at the nearby Starbucks. But, we met at Starbucks an hour before class, which is 0700 am. It was the only option for all of us since there wasn’t any time slot that is available for all of us. It was really tough waking up for the group adventure, but it was fun. While drinking coffee and eating breakfast, we
In this work, we review a paper by Parker [4]. In [4] Parker derived several trace identities for M(3, C). In this paper we improve on the results obtained by Parker [4]. We discuss the relation between Wen’s theorem and Lawton [1] and Will’s work on the trace of the commutator [8]. We also present the merits on how to parametrise pair of pants via traces and cross-ratio. In the last section we use a formula which is due to Pratoussevitch [6] to compute trace of matrices generated by complex reflection
In the group presentation, my group and I presented on the issue of -isms. This included focus on sexism, ageism, and racism. I felt that each person in our group was very diverse and unique which made our presentation stand out with having a little bit of individuality from each member in the presentation. Our main goal of communication was to inform the audience on what exactly each -ism is, discuss where each one is found, and how the are influenced in today's society. From the start of the
