Kant’s Categorical imperative:
- Categorical imperative is used to provide a way for the people to evaluate moral actions and to make moral judgments. It is not a command to perform a specific task; it is simply an ethics of duty.
- Categorical imperative signifies a complete requirement or a law that must be followed in all situations and is acceptable as an end in it.
Litmus test:
Business ethics is concerned as a litmus test to reveal whether an individual’s actions are ethical or not, and it is divided into four ways to test an individual’s behavior which are given as follows:
- Check whether an individual choose an honest path or not.
- This test evaluate individual’s actions for payment of taxes, etc.
- It checks whether the action of an individual is true as far as his gut feeling.
- Checks whether the action are in both intended as well as unintended manner.
