Introduction:
Meiosis is a process of cell division in which four haploid daughter cells are produced. It is also known as a reductional division because the daughter cells receive the reduced number of chromosomes. Meiosis is important for the reproduction because it produces haploid gametes. Meiosis occurs in two stages meiosis I and meiosis II.
