Introduction:
Human movement is carried out by the musculoskeletal system. There are essential structures like bones, muscles, and ligaments in the human body that work to produce a human movement.
A lever is a firm bar that revolves around a fixed point or fulcrum. The lever has three parts, fulcrum (axis), force (effort), and resistance (load).
The human body parts function similar to the parts of the lever. The axis of the lever represents the joints in the human body. The lever arm represents the bones. The force of the lever is similar to the region where the muscle is attached. The resistance of the lever is the force exerted to overcome the weight. Effort arm is the portion of the lever that starts from the fulcrum to the point of effort, whereas resistance arm starts from the fulcrum to the point of resistance.
