Management, organization, and technology factors contributed to the problem:

Management factors:

• Clemens Food group involved in the production of perishable goods needed to install a common database with master data storage to provide protection from disruption to production and transportation.
• However, the legacy systems can longer support the growth of the company and is unable to manage the production plans.
• The company needed a new software to improve the production management, visibility and be able to monitor closely its different processes.

Organisation factors:

• Clemens Food Group using its legacy system, could generate reports of sales every Tuesday of its last week. Thus, a real time profitability information was not generated.
• A new platform is needed to manage the various factors that influence the meat processing industry such as raw materials, products, seasonal change, and daily price fluctuations...
