Introduction: Arousal and anxiety result in the dreaded mental phenomenon called choking. Choking occurs when athletes want to perform well but get engaged in conscious processing. Athletes engage in automatic processing to perform physical skills at a high level. They do not pay their conscious attention to performance.

Introduction: Choking is a negative athletic experience that is characterized by a decrease in performance due to pressure. It is essentially caused by thinking about the outcome rather than the performance.
