The brain is the main part of the body that controls and coordinates all the body functions. The brain is divided into three parts, the forebrain, the midbrain, and the hindbrain. The forebrain consists the thalamus, the cerebrum, and the hypothalamus. The cerebrum occupies the largest part of the brain. The hind brain is comprised of the pons, the medulla oblongata, and the cerebellum.
