Question
Chapter 7, Problem 2AW
Program Plan Intro
Display list elements using a “for” loop:
- • In Python, a “list” is an object that has multiple data elements.
- • Every data element that is stored in a given list is known as “element”, and a variable is used for referencing the list.
- • A “for” loop can be used to iterate through the list using the list indexing to iterate and display each data element in the list.
Algorithm to display list elements using a “for” loop is as follows:
- • Create a list of names and declare a variable named “names” to refer to the list.
- • Use a “for” loop to iterate through the list from starting index to the last index.
- • Every time the for loop processes an index, use “print()” to display every data element of the given list.

Form should mentioned
write a For loop that iterates through a list of products (any number of products) that are sold in a store and prints them. [examples: fan, fridge, freezer, washer, etc.].
b) copy the code from a) and use the same loop to add more products(any)to the list. You must use list methods to add.
c) Copy the code from c), and search for a specific product (any), if the product is found the loop is terminated. Make sure to use else in the for loop.
d) Create an empty dictionary, then add 4 entries (the key is a word, the value is word’s frequency in a book). [example: {‘street’: 23}].
e) Create a for loop to access the entries from d) and print the keys and values.
f) Copy the code from e) and search for a specific key in the dictionary and prints its value. The program prints a message “ the {key} is not found”, if the key does not exist. Mm.
//
tails_same(number_list:list) -> bool
This function should return true if the value at the beginning and the end of the list are equal. False otherwise.
Example:
number_list = [1, 239, 949, 0, 84, 0, 1]
output: True
number_list = [1, 239, 949, 0, 84, 0, 13]
output: False
