To write- About the epidermal cells that occur in different layers of the epidermis.

Introduction-

The skin is the largest organ of the human body and is an integral part of the integumentary system. Three different layers of tissues make up the skin. These layers are:

-The Epidermis- The topmost layer of the cells that acts as a protective barrier, gives rise to the new skin, and provides us with distinct skin color.

-The dermis- It makes up a total of 90% of the thickness of the skin and has collagen and elastin fibers.

-The hypodermis- The innermost layer of the skin has various nerve innervations along with a prominent blood supply. It maintains body heat by the presence of a thick subcutaneous layer of fat.
