Like osteopenia, osteoporosis is also an abnormal condition of the bone that resulted from the deficiency of the minerals inside the bones but the reduction is so much that it compromise the normal functions. Estrogen hormone is very important to maintain and regulate the activity of the osteoblasts (bone producing cells).
