Explanation: Balanced Tree: Balance tree is a tree in which the height of left subtree and right subtree, if subtracted results in either 0, 1 or -1. • The function “balance()” is used to create balanced tree. • In function “balance()” first elements in the array are sorted. • Then take the middle element of the array, insert into the tree and divide the array based on the middle element. • From the first element to the element before the middle belongs to first sub array. • From the next element of middle to last element belongs to the second sub array. • The left child is taken from the first sub array and right child is taken from the second sub array. • Repeat the above steps for the first sub array and second sub array till all the elements are inserted into tree. Apply function “ balance() ” to English alphabets: First, insert all the alphabets into array. Array with index is shown below: The middle index of the array can be calculated by implementing the below given formula: Element at index “12” is “M”. So insert “M” into the tree. Similarly all the alphabets before letter “M” will be in the left subtree of the tree rooted at M and all the letters which are after the letter “M” will form a right subtree. All the remaining roots will be calculated by implementing the above formula only and further classification of the subtrees will be done based on the root element. Conclusion: Hence, by using the above mentioned algorithm , the final binary search tree of all the alphabets is given as below:
