Introduction: Various environmental factors influence the reproductive habits of animals. There are mainly two kinds of strategies, semelparity, and iteroparity. The organisms that reproduce only once in their lifetime are called semelparous whereas the organisms that reproduce multiple times in their life cycle are called iteroparous.
