The cell cycle is a chain of events that occurs in a cell for duplication of DNA and division of organelle and cytoplasm. The regulation of cell cycle is necessary because if it is not regulated the cell can go under cell division constantly and it is also necessary for signaling the passage of cell from one phase to another at right time during cell division.
