Introduction : The objective of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of controls that will be based on the standard of the preliminary control risk assessments. It further evaluates the testing of the operating effectiveness of controls and how the auditor decides on which controls to test and how the auditor’s assessment of control risk affected if a documented control procedure is not operating effectively and its impact towards substantive audit procedures.

An auditor’s assurance on the effectiveness of the controls that will be based on the preliminary control risk assessments and how the auditor may decide on other controls that need to be taken in raising the effectiveness of the process.
