Interpretation:
Horizontal drilling should be defined and differentiated from traditional drilling method for natural gas and oil recovery.
Conceptual Introduction:
Drilling is done for extracting natural gas oil and water. Drilling which is done vertically focus on the point where natural gas is present. Vertical drilling increases the productivity of the well. It exerts pressure in the direction of the well and making the production of oil from it.
Horizontal drilling is the process of drilling a well from the surface to a subsurface below which oil reservoir is present.
