Summary Introduction

To explain:

The exocrine and endocrine glands and the classification on the basis of their duct system and secretory portion shape

Introduction:

Glands are secretory organs composed primarily of epithelium, with a supporting network of connective tissue. These glands grow due to an embryo epithelium infolding or out folding. If the gland has open contact with the epithelium from which it has evolved, a duct is present.
