Introduction: The internal state of balance in the body of a living organism is referred to as homeostasis. There are several external and internal stimuli which disturb this internal state of balance. The disturbance in this internal state of balance generates a response in the body in order to correct the change. The change is corrected with the help of homeostatic control systems.
