To describe: The strategies used by animals to adjust with challenging temperature changes.

Introduction: In order to survive and function properly animals need to maintain pH and internal temperature within relatively narrow limits. When the internal environment of the body is balanced, it is referred to as homeostasis. The body temperature is maintained within these narrow limits despite the changes in surrounding temperature through a process called thermoregulation. The rate at which the heat is produced and the rate at which the heat is lost from the outside environment determines the body temperature.
