The eddy current in the conductor creates its magnetic field and opposes the magnetic field in the system.

Explanation of Solution

Introduction:

The eddy current is the loops of electric current induced within the conductor by a changing magnetic field in the conductor.

The piece of aluminum which is nonmagnetic in the pocket sound alarm as it is detected by the metal detector as the eddy current induced in the coils.There will be some magnetic field changes in the coils. This change in the magnetic field induces the voltages and the metal detector starts to detect the piece of aluminum which is nonmagnetic.

Conclusion:

The eddy current changes the magnetic field.
