Explanation of Solution

Given info:

The given reaction is n+vμp+μ.

Al nucleons that are proton and neutron have Baryon number +1. The neutron consists of three quarks up, down and down while the proton consist three quarks that are up, up and down. In the given reaction the neutron collide with the neutrino vμ and the down quark of neutron transform into up quark by converting into proton.

The interaction of the neutron with neutrino release energy particle gluon W for a shot time. After releasing energy for a short time by this reaction neutrino vμ convert into muon negative. Both the neutrino and muon are made up of single quark because they have no internal particle structure and known as fundamental particle.
