This is an Anabaena I need help with the following questions. What does the size or shape of the Anabaena look like? To me, it looks like a green worm.  Are the cytoplasm of adjoining cells interconnected in any way or are they physically isolated?  Are the cells in the filament alike? What color are most of the cells? To me, they look green Do they have any nuclei, mitochondria, chroloplast, or ribosomes?  Can you see any heterocyst? What is the function of the heterocyst?
