Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Enzymes are biomolecules that are regarded as similar to the catalyst in inorganic chemical reactions. Just like catalysts regulate the speed of inorganic reactions, in a similar way, enzymes regulate the speed of a biological reaction by lowering the barrier of activation energy. This is the reason due to which enzymes are called biocatalysts.
