Summary Introduction
A viral disease that causes swelling of the brain in humans and other mammals are called as rabies. The rabies is caused by lyssaviruses including Australian bat lyssavirus and rabies virus. The rabies is spread when an infected animal bites a human or bites another animal and scratches. Early symptoms of rabies are tingling at the site of exposure and fever.
