Concept Introduction:
Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) includes the levels of intake of the essential nutrients which are actually examined by the FOOD and Nutrition Board. The judgment is based on the scientific knowledge to prove that the essential nutrients are adequate. These essential nutrients should fulfill the known nutrient needs of all the healthy people.
The Daily Reference Intake (DRI) includes those reference values that are used to explain and evaluate the nutrient intake of a healthy person.
