Introduction: Xerophytes are plant species that have adaptations to survive in dry environmental conditions. These plants are commonly seen in desert regions, salt marshy areas, and saline soil. Succulents are xerophytic plants that have thick fleshy leaves and stems that could hold water for long durations. Some examples include Cactus, Euphorbia, Pine, and Bromeliads.
