Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Penile erection is a secondary sexual character, where the penis of a male erects and stands in an upright position from the resting incline position. It is an act of stimulation by visual perception or by touch, whereby the penis gets erected and it is ready for the intercourse and ejection of semen. The erectile function of the penis is under the control of parasympathetic nervous system stimulation.
