Introduction:
Fleming's left-hand rule states that whenever a current carrying conductor is placed in a magnetic field the magnetic field causes it to experience a force. The middle finger points toward the current. The thumb indicates the direction of force or motion that acts on the conductor.
According to the question the conductor is placed in the direction of north-south and the conductor is moving in east direction and magnetic field pointing down so the direction of current is from west to east.
