While under the progressive care unit, A.F had increased episodes of premature ventricular contractions (PVC). The monitor technician reported the nurse he had 20 episodes of ventricular tachycardia (VT) and when the nurse checks he had another 10 more episodes of VT. The nurse report to physician and he prescribed amiodarone (Cordarone) infusion.
