The groups 3 to 12 on the periodic table (d-block of the periodic table) are called Transition metal elements. The lanthanide and actinide series are also considered as inner transition metals.
- Physical properties are those that can observe or measure.
Physical properties of the elements are color, melting point, boiling point, mass, volume, density, length and shape.
- Chemical properties are those that describe how a substance reacts or change into a new substance and based on the reactivity, for example the substance reacts with acid, base, air, water and other chemicals.
