To write:
Some natural methods of asexual reproduction in flowering plants and the structures taking part in the process.
Given:
Asexual reproduction takes place in flowering plants.
Introduction:
Asexual reproduction gives rise to individuals, which are genetically similar to the parent plant. The two natural methods of asexual reproduction in flowering plants are vegetative propagation and apomixis. The process of vegetative propagation results in the production of new plants without the production of spores or seeds.
The part of the plants, like roots, stems, and leaves go through the process of vegetative propagation. The other natural method of asexual reproduction is apomixis, in which the plants can give rise to seeds without going through the process of fertilization; in this, either the part of the ovary or the ovule produces a new seed.
