Introduction:

Apical dominance refers to the procedure in which the prime, fundamental stem of the plant is prevailing over the other side stems. In plant physiology, apical dominance is illustrated as the control imparted by the terminal bud over the extension of lateral buds. Auxin refers to a plant hormone, which initiates elongation of the cell and affects a host of other developmental reactions, like vascular differentiation, root initiation, apical dominance, tropic responses, and the development of flowers, auxiliary buds, and fruits.
