With the help of the feeding tubes, the nutrition and fluids were transferred into the body of the lady. Her husband was appointed as a legal guardian of the lady. Her husband made the decision of removing the feeding tubes of the lady to allow her to die but her parents are in against of this decision.

The person can show different type of will in order to protect itself from dying. A person can sign the will of living if in the favor of the life. This would help in getting the medical procedures which will be acted on the person and allow the person for the specific types of the treatments.
The person can also sign a will of living with the durable power of attorney. This document is helpful in many cases because the document contains the name of the person who is able to make all the decisions related to the life and death of the patient. This ensures that all the desires and wishes of the patient would be fulfilled by that trustworthy person.
The life care advance directive can also be used which provide the specific medical conditions for the treatment. If a person is not able to make the correct decisions for the life, then the authority would make the decision on the basis of the choice of the family of the patient.
Thus, it can be concluded that the choice to live or die depends on the person’s personal will. Various types of directives and authorities are present which support the patient in making the correct decision regarding the life and the death.
