The exercise involving data in this and subsequent sections were designed to be solved using Excel. Johnson Filtration, Inc. provides maintenance service for water-filtration systems. Suppose that in addition to information on the number of months since the machine was serviced and whether a mechanical or an electrical repair was necessary, the managers obtained a list showing which repairperson performed the service. The revised data follow.

Suppose we have a dataset containing 50 rows, one row for each state. The population of each state, measuredin millions of people, is a variable in that data set. Below is a histogram for the population data.
I have attached the bar graph- I am havinng trouble discerning which axis is the state and which axid is the population count? theres only 14 on one axis and 44 on the other. Doesn't make sense for a state to have a zero population. Can you tell which is which? a) What proportion of states have a population between 6 and 10 million? what is the mean population? what is the median population?
