Question
Chapter 20.6, Problem 26AYP
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The ways by which the prolonged refractory period gets generated in the cardiac muscles and the benefits of a prolonged refractory period.
Introduction:
Both cardiac muscle and skeletal muscle have refractory periods which are linked to its action potential. The two subdivisions of the refractory period are absolute refractory period and the relative refractory period.
