Write a program in python Suppose a right triangle is placed in a plane as shown below. The right-angle point is at (0, 0), and the other two points are at (200, 0), and (0, 100). Write a program that prompts the user to enter a point with x- and y-coordinates and determines whether the point is inside the triangle.
Sample runs of the program are given below:
Enter a point's x- and y-coordinates: 100.5 25.5
The point is in the triangle
Enter a point's x- and y-coordinates: 100.5 50.5
The point is not in the triangle
Write a program which prompts the user for a number and prints the numbers from 1 up to that number, one per line, and then prints out "That's all!". Some of the code has been provided for you.
For example, if the user enters 3 the program should print:
Write a program that reads from the user a character (*q' or 'c').
If the character is 'c', the program reads from the user the radius r of a circle and prints its area.
If the user enters 'q', the program asks the user to enter the length and width of a quadrilateral. We
assume the quadrilateral is either a square or rectangle. You should print if the quadrilateral is square
or rectangle.
Otherwise, it prints "Wrong character"
PS: Use the following formulas :
area of circle=3.14*r?

- Design a program that will display an inches –to-centimeters conversion table. The smallest and largest number of inches in the table are input values. Your table must give conversions in 6-inch intervals. Treat the largest number of inches as a cap. That means that if the next inch value to be calculated (when counting by 6) is greater than the largest input, then that next inch value is not converted and does not appear on the table. One inch is equivalent to 2.54 cm. Display the output to 2 decimal places and right align both columns of output. You can find the conversion factor online if necessary. Store this factor in a properly named constant. Allow the user to specify the range of pounds for the table by prompting for the start, stop, and step values for the pounds column. Display the pounds accurate to two decimal places centered in a column 10 characters wide. The kilometers should display accurate to three decimal places and right-aligned in a column 12 characters wide (see page 75-78). Column headings should be displayed with the same alignments. Use the last letter of the month as the second character of the plate number. b. Display "Invalid Input" and ask the user to re-enter his/her answer if the answer is not a valid month. 3. What is your first name? a. Use the third letter of the first name as the third character of the plate number. No need to include the second name if you have a second name. Make sure to use "cout" and "cin" to collect the necessary inputs from the user. For the number section: 1. - An instructor gives a series of exams during the semester in her math class. At the end of the semester she drops each student's lowest test score before averaging the scores. She has asked you to design a program that will read a student's test scores as input and calculate the average with the lowest score dropped. Here is the algorithm that you developed: Get the student's test scores. Calculate the total of the scores. Find the lowest score. Subtract the lowest score from the total. This gives the adjusted total. Divide the adjusted total by 1 less than the number of test scores. This is the adjusted average. Display the average. The test scores are in a text file named scores.txt and contains the following: Mickey, 71.0, 42.0, 83.0 Donald, 94.0, 73.0, 72.0, 81.0 Minnie, 95.0, 85.0, 45.0, 55.0, 65.0 A sample run is as follows: Enter a file containing floating point numbers: scores.txt Test scores for Mickey: ['71.0', '42.0', '83.0'] Removed the lowest score of 42.0 for Mickey The…arrow_forwardHere is a classic “introduction to computer programming” problem: Write a program that converts temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius and vice versa. The program will accept a number (temperature) and a temperature unit designation (i.e., character F or C) from the user, and then convert the temperature into the other unit system. The program will echo the input as part of the final conversion output. The temperature units should be printed in full (Fahrenheit or Celsius). Your program should use real numbers—not integers—for both input and output. Formula: T(F) = (T(C) * 9 / 5) + 32T(C) = (T(F) − 32 ) * 5 / 9 Sample Run: This program converts Temperatures from Fahrenheit to Celsius and vice versa. Please enter your temperature: 32 Please enter the units (F/C): F A temperature of 32 degrees Fahrenheit is equivalent to 0 degrees Celsius. Do you wish another conversion? A palindrome is a number or text phrase that reads the same backwards or forwards. For example, each of the following five-digit integers is a palindrome: 12321, 55555, 45554 and 11611. Write a program that reads a 5 digit integer and determines whether it is a palindrome. Hint: One way to do this is to use division (/) and modulus (%) operators to separate the number into individual digits.arrow_forward
