Introduction:

Plasma membrane separates the cell from its exterior environment. The plasma membrane gives the shape and integrity to the cell. It allows the substance to flow and also it restricts in and out of the cell. The plasma membrane includes phospholipids, cholesterol, proteins, and carbohydrates.
