Introduction: Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are the inherited variation in which there will be a difference in a single nucleotide. It takes place generally once per 1000 nucleotides sequences. Some of the SNPs can act as physical markers which help to locate a mutant gene by using linkage analysis.
