Concept introduction:
The production of primitive blood cells in bone marrow that will give rise to the future erythrocytes, leukocytes, and platelets is done by the process hemopoiesis. The first primitive stem cell is developed in the wall of yolk sac of the embryo and gradually colonizes to the other body organs where they develop into hemocytoblast cells that are responsible for the development of all formed elements of blood.
