Introduction: Cell division is a process in which a cell splits into daughter cells. In the process of cell division, the chromatin present in the nucleus shrinks and form a thread-like structure called the chromosomes. There are mainly two types of cell division, namely mitosis and meiosis. Mitosis occurs in a somatic cell and meiosis occurs in reproductive cells.
