Explanation of Solution

An electric motor is a device which is used to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy in an auto vehicle. The basic components of a motor are stator, field binding, rotor, and an armature. The field binding is a stationary part used to create a magnetic field inside the motor and causing the armature to rotate away from the windings fields. The field binding may be made either with an electromagnet or with a permanent.
