Concept Introduction:

Colors absorbed and emitted are complementary to each other. For instance when green color is absorbed complimentary color emitted or transmitted will be red. Similarly for violet color complementary color is yellow, for blue color complementary color is orange. However the spectrum is continuous and hence various wavelengths are often merged.
