Introduction: The kidney is the bean shaped organ of about four to five inches present on the either side of the spine. Each kidney weighs about 150 grams and is composed of two regions namely the outer cortex and inner medulla. It consists of two blood vessels namely the renal artery through which the blood enters and the renal veins through which the blood exits the kidney.
