Buffer overflow:

A computer program which contains defects that causes the systems to crash and make the privileged user being in the state of having higher authority levels is called as buffer overflow.

Buffer overflows making the computer vulnerable:

• When the program is not written in careful way, there is a possibility of problem to occur named buffer overflow.
• Buffer is considered as memory area that is of fixed size which is capable of storing particular amount of information in it.
