Peer-to-peer architecture:

It is a computer networking architecture. Here, each node has the similar capabilities and tasks. The types of peer-to-peer architecture are as follows:

  • Decentralized peer-to-peer architecture.
    • If the architecture is said to be decentralized peer-to-peer architecture if a computation is executed by only one node in the network.
  • Semi-centralized peer-to-peer architecture.
    • If the architecture is said to be semi-centralized peer-to-peer architecture then the server should set up contact between nodes in the network and it should co-ordinate the results of the computation.
