Cable modem:

Cable modem is a device that delivers the broadband internet access in the form of cable internet.

• Cable modem is a bidirectional data communication.
• It sends the analog signal through the same line used for cable TV connections.
• It modulates and demodulates signals for transmission and reception through the cable wiring.
• The speed of cable modem is 1.5 mbps (mega bits per second).
