Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Cranial nerves are used to communicate all parts of the body from the brain. It is of twelve types, 1 to 12 cranial nerves are present in our body. All cranial nerves enter the brain through the spinal cord. Each nerve has a distinctive function and specific name.
Cranial nerves are used to carry the sensory impulses from the brain to all parts of the body and vice versa. The accessory nerve arises from the cervical spinal cord, so it is considered as an exception from all cranial nerves.
