To review:
The reasons for the increase in the human population over last 150 years.
Introduction:
The human population is increasing day by day. It is estimated that in last 150 years, the death rate of the population has decreased and the birth rate has increased at a significant level.
Explanation of Solution
The advancements in the medical technology and with the possibility of treating many diseases, the average death rate of the humans is decreased up to a significant level. The availability of the health care facility has reduced the miscarriages and infant mortality, which increased growth rate to a significant level.
As more infants are able to survive, more individual reach to adulthood and are able to produce more children. This has lead to an increase in the population growth exponentially.
The decrease in the death rate and increase in the survival rate of the infants is the main reason for the explosive increase in human population.
