There are three types of blood vessels in human body namely the arteries, veins and capillaries. The arteries carry blood from the heart to the varoius organ sytems. The veins bring the blood back from organ systems to the heart. The capillaries are thin vessels which connect the arterial blood flow the the venous return. To carry out ther funtions all of them are structurally different.
