Introduction:

The upper and lower limbs have numerous muscles that serve primarily for the movement of the body and the manipulation of objects. In the limbs, fibrous sheets of connective tissue, the fasciae, enclose spaces called compartments. Each compartment contains one or additional functionally connected muscles.
